DFM has released a new product for the forestry market allowing operators a more efficient and economical method of harvesting timber. After many months of research and development, the CFB16 Series is a premier forestry attachment utilizing the time-proven components DFM has in their land clearing line of equipment.
The tower design of the CFB16 is an extremely strong design, however, the unit still weighs less than 1,800 lbs so the track loader has enough capacity to carry a load of trees. Important features include an 1,800 rpm disc speed, 1.5” pivot pins, wide skid shoes, heavy attaching bracket, and plug-n-play hydraulic controls.
A smaller carrier has many advantages over larger machines such as lower fuel consumption, better maneuverability, less ground pressure and lower acquisition costs. DFM is excited to offer this new product to forestry customers as an additional option from thinning to final harvest.
